Does my doubt mean I don’t have real faith?

The Bible has so much to say about faith: that it’s believing in things we can’t see and that’s an assurance of things for which we can only hope. But let’s face it, sometimes when we think we should have faith, we doubt instead. Are the two always mutually exclusive? Or can I doubt and still have faith?
