Directions Worship Times I'm New

Westtown Church is a Presbyterian Church (PCA) in northwest Tampa that is committed to community, discipleship and worshiping our Creator as we learn to love as Christ loves and live out the Gospel simply.

Our Mission

At Westtown Church, we desire to live out the Christian life, simply. Simple faith, simple obedience, and simple love. A life that involves respect among members, a focus on personal growth, and a deep desire to serve the community.

Our Vision

We believe God has called us to reach the un-churched in the surrounding areas of Northwest Tampa, and to develop people to be committed followers of Christ. We feel this ministry will be both attractional and missional. We desire to multiply our ministry through church planting, leadership, development, sending missionaries abroad and domestic missional works.

Our Values

Love For The Story Of Scripture

God has spoken to us through the redemptive story of the Bible and we recognize it as the centering narrative in our lives.

Can you find yourself in God’s story?

Intentional Time With God

Having a personal relationship with Christ involves understanding God’s truth, following His example, and feeling His delight which requires intentional time.

Our Core Beliefs

We believe that Gods mission is to rescue and redeem a broken world. God sent his son, Jesus to live, die and resurrect, defeating sin and Satan in order to bring his people into relationship with Him. We want people to be awed at the relevance and penetration of the gospel in their lives.

The good news of redemption reaches far beyond gaining a moral compass and learning to get along with others. Rather, it is about being united to Christ through faith in His accomplished work on the cross.

The Gospel is:

1 Creation

God has a plan for the world.

Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

Genesis 1:26-27

2 The Fall

Sin created a barrier to God

This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

3 Redemption

God the Father chose to give us grace and send His Son Jesus.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

John 3:16-17

4 Invitation

The Gospel offers a personal relationship with Him.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

Romans 10:9-10
